World Factbook Harvester

The World Factbook Harvester is an advanced data minining tool that harvests information from CIA's World Factbook. The data are stored in an MS Access database. You can also export them in Excel.

You will also need to download geos.zip from Central Intelligence Agency Download Page. You will have to extract this file locally. This file contains information for all countries world-wide.

The current version harvests the following information:
Country name, Background, Location, Geograph note, Land boundaries. If you need more fields, please contact me for a quote.

Barcode Check Digit Functions

BarcodeCD is a free add-in for MS Excel 2000/XP. You may freely copy and modify the VBA code as you wish.
The add-in contains functions to return the check digit of the following barcode types: EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, and ITF-14.

Good Old DOS!

This is a freeware utility dedicated to all the DOS lovers. It simply gives you the command "DOS prompt" when you right click on a folder. This command opens a new DOS window and sets the current directory to the clicked folder. There is also a history of all the opened folders for easier access.

Tested with Windows 98/2000/XP.
